Tiger Woods has officially announced that he will play in the 2015 Masters via his website:
“I’m playing in the Masters,” Tiger said Friday afternoon. “It’s obviously very important to me, and I want to be there.
Predict his score and win
We’re giving away a dozen Pro-V1’s to anyone who can accurately predict Tiger’s overall score to par. To enter, simply login to gottaGolf and comment on the post below with your prediction. My guess is -11 and Tiger takes the win.
No surprise here
I’ve been saying all week that I thought he would play. Being such a competitor, it was hard for me to imaging Tiger passing on an opportunity to get out there and compete. He has a limited number of healthy years, so even if there is a small chance that he pulls out a victory, it’s better than the chance he would have from couch.
This is good news for golf fans, sponsors, and the town of Augusta. The presence of Tiger will draw more eyeballs, generate excitement and make a spectacular event even better.
How will he do?
Whether Tiger plays good or bad, it’s safe to assume that every shot he hits will be over-analyzed by the golf world. There is a lot of pressure on Tiger to get out there and show everyone he still has what it takes to compete with the talented young field.
Tiger will need to get out there and have a few good practice rounds to get his confidence up. Let’s hope he’s been working on his chipping over the last few weeks. If he can get in a rhythm, we all know what he is capable of.
I for one, think Tiger will make a run and finish near the top. It’s a bold prediction to say he’s going to win, but I’m going to say it. As someone who grew up watching and rooting for Tiger, nothing would make me happier than to see him pull in the green jacket this Sunday.
Let me know what you guys think!

153 he won’t make the cut
I’ll say Tiger finishes at -9. Hoping to see him go lower but, as long as he gets his 5th Green Jacket I’ll be happy!
79 and 75
